The 15th Scientific Conference

The 15th Scientific Conference of the University of Science, VNU-HCM, will be held from November 9 to November 16, 2026, as the University's flagship scientific event. The conference is organized as a multi-conference model, comprising the University-level Conference and discipline-based constituent conferences hosted by faculties, institutes, and research laboratories. Selected constituent conferences are encouraged to develop into international scientific conferences, contributing to the University's internationalization strategy and global academic engagement.

The conference serves as a forum for scientists, lecturers, students, and experts from Vietnam and abroad to present, exchange, and discuss research findings, emerging scientific trends, technological innovations, and opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration. It also aims to strengthen research partnerships, expand international academic networks, and foster collaboration among universities, research institutes, industry, and international organizations.

The University-level Conference will feature plenary sessions with distinguished invited speakers, highlighting strategic research directions and interdisciplinary topics. Constituent conferences will provide specialized scientific sessions covering a broad range of disciplines in natural sciences, engineering, technology, and related fields, creating opportunities for in-depth academic discussion and collaboration within each research community.

By bringing together researchers, educators, students, industry partners, and international collaborators, the conference contributes to enhancing research quality, promoting innovation and technology transfer, and reinforcing the academic reputation and international standing of the University of Science, VNU-HCM.

Publication

The reports participating in the conference, after being selected by the specialized subcommittees, will be sent for full-text review for publication in:

International journals listed in the Scopus database associated with the conference
Peer-reviewed report collections listed in the Scopus database
Special issues of journals listed in the Scopus database and the Journal of Science and Technology Development - Natural Sciences

The submission period for full-text articles for journal publication is expected to begin on December 1, 2024. After being reviewed and revised according to the requirements of the journals, the full-text articles may be published in the issues dedicated to the conference.
